Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti Lodge overlooks the Musabi Plains, the main lodge uses tradition grass thatching on the roof to blend in with the landscape. You will find a relaxing lounge that has plenty of seating for all and allows for more of an open-air environment. Enjoy delicious meals within the dining area that is inspired by African culture, or why not enjoy a drink at the bar with expertly trained staff on hand. All around the lodge are exquisite game-viewing decks, so you will never miss an opportunity to see the vast array of wildlife that also call this area their home. If you are looking for some authentic trinkets to take home with you, the gift shop carries handmade items from the families of the nearby villages. The design of the lodge is contemporary, mixed with a natural palette. They have mixed wooden furniture with African patterns and colour to enhance the natural beauty of the area.
This lodge has twenty private safari rooms which are equipped with private verandas so you can enjoy Serengeti National Park from the comfort of your own tent. They have built all the tents upon raised platforms so that animals can wander through the encampment with little hindrance. The thatched roofs help to keep the tents cool, and you will have access to en-suite bathrooms to get you ready for another day of adventure. Each tent is designed with natural styling so as not to pull away from the beauty of the landscape. Each bed has a canopy over it of mosquito netting to protect from little creatures as you sleep. If you are looking for a tent with a little more romance, the five luxury safari rooms boast a king size bed, and the verandah having an outdoor bath and shower.

Tripadvisor comments Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti Lodge
Fantastic lodge with views over the plains that must rank as one of the best in the Serengeti! The staff are of a high quality, taking care of your every need and entertaining you with their singing and dancing in the evenings. The lodges are beautifully equipped and the luxury lodges in particular are spectacular. Beautifully fitted out and with views that photography simply can’t do justice to. The game drives were excellent with our guide very knowledgeable and the sightings of cheetah, lions, leopards and a serval to name a few, pretty impressive! Simply amazing!

I stayed for 2 nights just before Christmas and enjoy an unforgettable time. Our room had lovely views of the valley, with a bathtub facing the endless savannah. We had breakfast in the terrace and it was the best way to start our day. The restaurant serves delicious food with a great variety of dishes and we really enjoyed our dinners there. Thank you very much to Stuart and Sarah who made our experience unforgettable and to the rest of the highly professional and attentive team. From the maasai, to the room attendants and waiters, all of them were so kind and helpful. Definitely a preferred option for the Serengeti!
