Set within a secluded part of the Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti is Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp. This intimate tented camp is right at the end of a blind valley where you will have uninterrupted views across the plains during all times of the day. The Seronera region is a wildlife transition area between the southern grasslands and northern woodlands. This area is known for game viewing throughout the year and a large population of resident big cats. It is also a wonderful spot during November through to January for the annual wildebeest migration that traverses the area.
Explore the communal mess tent that has seating and dining areas that have been decorated in luxury. Sit upon leather sofas, colourful rugs and gather around the chandeliers during the evening, or even by the campfire outside where you can enjoy drinks and discuss the adventures of the day. Look out over the plains from the comfort of the communal lounge, watch as the herds travel through the camp and take in all the beauty of the land.
The camp has twelve spacious tents with en-suite bathrooms perfect for relaxing in after a long day of being out on safari. Look out over the beautiful views on your personal outside deck, watch as the animals live their days in the wild and listen to the music of the birds as you wake up. In every tent, there are two queen-size beds that have fluffy duvets to encase you during the rather chilly African nights. There will be no lack of luxury within the depths of the Serengeti, with a large safari-style shower that has plenty of running water for all the party. The chicly designed canvas tent with strong wooden flooring and solar lighting will have you living in a rustic style. Enjoy refreshing beverages out on one of your private loungers before starting the day.

Tripadvisor comments Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp
We had the most wonderful stay at Lemala! The staff was so warm and friendly and professional! We loved everything about the camp and would recommend this camp to everyone! Perfect location! We were greeted by the staff every time we came back from safari with a cool washcloth and always asked about our day and what we would like to drink. The meals were exceptional and the staff was attentive to every detail of our trip and time at the camp. Our favorite was the dinner presentation, the morning wake up calls and just how caring the staff was to all our needs!

We were greeted by the Manager “Ebenezer” and our Butler “Good Luck” who took excellent care of us. The camp was well equipped and our accommodation was perfect with a “hot bucket” shower and bathroom which was perfect! The staff were superb and were always ready to assist in any way they could. The shared meals in the dining room and pre dinner bonfires were fun allowing for a debriefing of the day’s safari sightings. The meals were great and plentiful and our dietary restrictions were well looked after. The best part of the adventure was the pride of lions who frequented the camp causing no disturbance outside of the occasional roar! Talk about an amazing adventure. We would return without hesitation.
